I was born and raised in good ole Greeley Colorado. I used to think it was so lame to be from Greeley, but with age I have learned to embrace the city and all of Northern Colorado. I graduated from the Ohio Center for Broadcasting with a degree in broadcasting in 2009, and it is a dream come true to be playing music and talking on the radio to all my friends and family in Northern Colorado. I LOVE music, all kinds of music! I also love talking, all kinds of talking! If you think there is a better job for me out there, you let me know! Other than music and talking, I’m an avid bowler, yes a bowler, I usually get funny looks when I say that. In a usual week Ill probably bowl 5 out of seven days. I am also blessed to have a beautiful daughter, Shai, who was born in June 2008, and love showing her off!  I also have a son on the way in December of 2010, and couldn't be more excited to meet him! I’m addicted to ice cream and I’m a firm believer that nothings more important than family, my Dad and Grandma will always be the biggest heroes in my book for the contributions and support they have given me throughout my life. Although life seems chaotic and sometimes even hard, at the end of the day I thank my lucky stars and God for everything I have, and wouldn’t have it any other way. “We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.”  ~Frederick Keonig Find me on Facebook or Email me, Id love to hear from you!

Rod Smith Is Heading Into the Denver Broncos Ring of Fame

The Denver Broncos have been around since 1960, and have had a lot of great teams and players in their 52 years. But only 22 players have ever received the teams highest honor by being inducted into the Ring of Fame. That number will increase by one this season for the first time in three years as the Broncos will honor wide receiver Rod Smith by inducting him into the Ring of Fame.

Loveland’s Tourism-Boosting Brand Has Landed

It was a little more than two years ago that Loveland started collecting a 3 percent tax on hotel and motel accommodations to eventually bring more visitors to the city. Now that the city had the money, they had to decide how to spend it, and what Loveland's new "brand" would be. Wednesday five members of the Community Marketing Commission voted unanimously to adopt a logo-and-tagline package that will go on tiny stickers, giant billboards and everything in between to drive tourism and business development in the city.

Already at more than 5,000 acres, growing, and with no containment in near sight, the Hewlett Fire has already become one of the largest wildfires Larimer County has ever seen. Why Are Grown Men Still Throwing Baseballs At One Another?

Being the huge sports fan that I am, there is not a day that goes by that I don't catch an episode or two of Sportscenter on ESPN before bed. There was a story yesterday that caught my attention, and yanked my chain a little. It involved an "unwritten rule" in Major League Baseball that basically says it is acceptable to hit one another with baseballs. It is not OK, and it needs to stop!

Officials Issue Fort Collins-Area Air-Quality Warning Over Hewlett Fire

The east side side of Fort Collins, Wellington, Ault, and all the other towns near the Hewlett Fire are well aware there is something burning just by breathing. Take a good whiff, and it smells as though there is a ham in the oven, or take a good look, and you can tell the air quality is poor. That is why Larimer County environmental health officials are warning area residents to be cautious about exercising in the smoke blanketing the area from the Hewlett Fire.

Sometimes I look at others and think, it sure would make my life better to have their jobs, but honestly my life isn't too bad. I love what I do, and there are only a few things I can think of that I would do. Sure, there are stressful moments, but nothing that causes any problems for me. Others cant always say the same. According to a new study, a job you dislike can cause serious health problems, especially in women. Do you like you job?
