When you think of Fort Collins what comes to mind? I bet I can guess what two of those things are for almost every person... Mountains and beer. The mountains have taken center stage with the High Park Fire burning them for almost two weeks. But the beer gets to shine this weekend. The 23rd annual Colorado Brewers' Festival will be held at Civic Center Park on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 22-24.

Along with the seventy kinds of craft beer on tap in downtown Fort Collins from more than 30 Colorado breweries, including 12 breweries in the northern Colorado area, there will also be a new Connoisseur Beer Tasting Party organized by Choice City Butcher and Deli on Friday evening, 15 Colorado bands that will be playing on two stages during the weekend, and food to go with your brews.

The Colorado Brewers Festival takes place at Civic Center Park, Laporte Avenue and Howes Street in downtown Fort Collins 12:30-6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 23-24; VIP admission 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. both days. Connoisseur Beer Tasting Party is 7-10 p.m. Friday, June 22. Special tickets required.
