If you have been doing something for over 70 years, you can bet that you have probably done it right. That is defiantly the case in the little town of Milliken. They've been celebrating Beef ‘n Bean Day for what seems like forever, and this year it will be bigger and better than ever. Beef ‘n Bean Day is tomorrow at Lola Park (August 11th).

Festivities will kick off at 6 a.m. with a pancake breakfast at the Milliken Fire Station. There will be a parade at 11 a.m. as well as vendors in the park all day. The annual event will wrap up with fireworks at 9 p.m. The bean cook-off will be at 2 p.m. and is sponsored by Colorado Community Bank and Cobitco. All sorts of other free activities will be avaliable in the park like carriage rides, bounce houses and small carnival games. On Sunday, there will be a community worship in the park presented by Milliken Presbyterian Church at 10:30 a.m.
