Now if you know anything about me at all, it's that I am a donut fanatic! I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but I make up for all the candy, cake, and soda that I miss out on with donuts! When I found out today was National Donut Day, I was quite disappointed that I am sitting in a studio filled with healthy granola bars and not a trace of a bear claw or fritter.

Now though, if you have a second to get away from the office today to celebrate National Donut Day you would be making a huge mistake by going anywhere but Reds Dogs and Donuts in Greeley! Who needs the whimpy, too sweet donut you get at Krispy Kreme, or the donut that tastes just like the box it came in at Dunkin' Donuts? We have Red's! I discovered Red's about a year ago, and I am hooked! From the traditional glazed raised, that's too over sized to be considered traditional by the way, to Red’s specialty donuts such as The Boston Crème, The Apple Bacon Maple Donut, Harley’s PB&J, Bear Claws, Fritters and The Oversized Cinnamon Rolls, you will find a donut you absolutely love! Red's just open a new location on west 10th Street in Greeley to go along with their original store off of 11th Ave. Oh, and it's not just me that loves Red's, the people of Greeley voted Red's as the #1 donut, and friendliest store in the Greeley Tribune's "2010 Hot Picks." What's better than a donut with a smile?? Now, my infomercial is over, and my chin is wet with drool, I am heading to Red's to celebrate. You comin'?
