Paul McCartney had a pretty busy 2011. He got married and also spent hundreds of hours in the studio preparing his latest solo album which is going to be called "Kisses on the Bottom," due out February sixth. With a unique name like he choose for the title, we had to know where/what it came from, and McCartney explained.

McCartney being the jazz fan that he is, chose to cover a 1935 Fats Waller hit called "I’m Gonna Sit Right Down And Write Myself A Letter" on the new album. The title of the new album comes from the lyrics of that tune.

I’m gonna sit right down and write myself a letter and make believe it came from you/I’m gonna write words oh so sweet/They’re gonna knock me off of my feet/A lot of kisses on the bottom/I’ll be glad I got ‘em.

"I’m Gonna Sit Right Down And Write Myself A Letter" is not the only cover on the album, as a matter of fact, other than two new original songs, the album is covers of songs McCartney listened to as a child. The album also has duets with Eric Clapton and Stevie Wonder. "Kisses on the Bottom" is McCartney's first studio album since 2007's "Memory Almost Full" which sold over 700,000 copies in the U.S.

Here is a preview of one of the new songs on the album, which is eventually going to be the duet with Eric Clapton called "My Valentine."
