As you may know, I have done a little bowling in my day... Ok a lot of bowling. I still get to the lanes here and there, but more than worrying about how my game is (by the way it's not very good anymore) I think it is important to get our youth involved in the sport I grew up loving. That is why I am proud to support my buddy Jeremy and the crew at Highland Park Lanes as they put on their annual Race to 300 Car Show with all the proceeds going to the Junior Bowlers Scholarship program.

This Sunday (August 5th) from 10am to 1pm head over to the parking lot at Highland Park Lanes in Greeley and enjoy a free day of checking out tons of cool cars and raising money to help support young bowlers in Northern Colorado. Music, food, games, and door prizes will also add to the fun.

It is not too late to enter a car either. Entry fee is $15 per car, and all of the entry fee goes to the scholarship fund. All makes and models are welcome, and 10 trophies will be up for grabs this year for the top 3 cars in Peoples Choice, and first place in the following: Kid's Choice, Highland Park Lanes Choice, Best Truck, Best Race Car, Best Rat Rod, Entries Choice and Best Late Model (1985 and newer).

Also be sure to come join me for a live broadcast as we get the cars all lined up and ready to go from 9 to 10 on Sunday morning.

If you have questions, would like to enter, or would like to sponsor or donate to the event call Jeremy at (970)330-2695 or visit the Race to 300 Car Show Facebook page.
