Eight couples danced on Monday night’s 80s-themed ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ but who survived the cavalcade of shoulder pads and big hair?

‘DWTS’ host Brooke Burke took a page from the ‘American Idol’ playbook, carefully pointing that one of the last two couples standing after the rest were declared safe was not necessarily in the bottom two.

With that said, the pairs sweating it out were:

Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who danced a decent tango to ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’ on performance night and got a total of 24 from the judges, and Carson Kressley and Anna Trebunskaya, whose jive to ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go’ was fun but messy and earned a bottom-of-the-barrel score of 19.

Unsurprisingly, it was Carson and Anna who got the boot. The former ‘Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’ star didn’t seem too crushed, and in fact just appeared happy to have been there at all.
